City & Guilds Qualified
All our sales people are qualified to City & Guilds standard in sales.
Anyone interested in energy efficiency and working, or looking for work, as a domestic energy assessor (DEA).
C12 Sales offers the complete training course required to qualify as a Domestic Energy Assessor. This is the Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment which we offer through City & Guilds. The course covers all relevant legislative changes and underpinning knowledge and principles in order to produce an EPC in accordance with the relevant standards and procedures.
The course includes the completion of assessments and surveys on all five of your portfolio of domestic properties. It also includes full training in the use of and application of RdSAP software to produce the relevant EPC.
C12 Sales deliver the course at our own assessment centre in Huddersfield or at your premises.*
The course will also prepare you for accreditation with one of the existing accreditation bodies. We can arrange accreditation with one of the bodies we have links with, alternatively you can arrange your own. We work with Stroma and Elmhurst.
We run the course as a 5 day course, which has the following structure and includes completion of all 5 of your portfolio property assessments.
Unit 331: Conduct energy assessments in a safe, effective and professional manner
Unit 332: Prepare for energy assessments of domestic property
Unit 333: Undertake energy inspections
Unit 334: Produce and explain Energy Performance Certificates relating to domestic properties
Day 4
Assessment of 5 portfolio property, final assessments and review of Portfolio.
Day 5
Final assessments, Health & Safety workshops, completion of Log Book.
This course is assessed by the completion of a work-based Portfolio and written assessment completed during the course. All written assessments are internally marked by C12 Sales and then externally verified by City & Guilds.

All candidates that successfully pass each of the assessments for this course, will receive either a City & Guilds certificate as evidence that they have passed this DEA qualification.
This can be produced as evidence for the purposes of accreditation with one of the Accreditation bodes, e.g. Stroma, Northgate, Elmhurst.
Each unit of the course is based on the National Occupational Standards for Domestic Energy Assessors and has been endorsed by Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for facilities management, housing, property, planning, cleaning and parking.
