City & Guilds Qualified
All our sales people are qualified to City & Guilds standard in sales.
This qualification has been specifically developed for existing Domestic Energy Assessors wishing to provide Green Deal Advice. Green Deal assessment and accompanying advice must be carried out by a qualified and authorised Green Deal Domestic Adviser. The Advisor will have a mixture of technical knowledge, practical competence and ‘soft’ skills to provide households and businesses with the advice they need to take informed decisions.
C12 Sales are pleased to be able to offer this Green Deal Advisor qualification by City & Guilds.
C12 Sales can deliver the course in our own assessment centre in Huddersfield, or alternatively on-site at your premises or a location near to you.*
We run the course as a 3 day course.
Day 1 – Unit 320 Provide information to customers on the principles, financing and operation of the Green Deal
Day 2 – Unit 322 Explain the Green Deal Advice Report to the domestic customer
– Unit 410 Prepare and issue domestic Green Deal Advice Reports
Day 3 – Unit 321 Undertake occupancy assessments and give advice
– Portfolio Property site visits, Role play scenarios, Portfolio preparation.
Online Exam – Evening Assessment
Assessment is by portfolio, assignment, role play and online examination.
Online Examination: You are required to complete a 60 minute online City & Guilds examination as part of your qualification.
This exam is completed within 2 weeks of the course completion date, to be held at our premises in Huddersfield.
Please note that we provide you all 3 of your portfolio properties required to complete this qualification. The site visit to these properties is completed on the final day of the course.

All candidates that successfully pass each of the assessments for this course, will receive a City & Guilds Certificate as evidence that they have passed this qualification.
Each unit of the course is based on the National Occupational Standards for Domestic Energy Assessors and has been endorsed by Asset Skills, the Sector Skills Council for facilities management, housing, property, planning, cleaning and parking.
